Located between Bangkok and Pattaya is an open concept zoo where more than 300 species and 8,000 animals are kept.
Khao Kheow Open Zoo is well known for the many endangered species that roam the compound. Some activities at the zoo are elephant trekking, feeding the animals, watching animals perform and more.
Driving there or hiring a taxi from Bangkok is by far the best way to reach the zoo. Look out for the many Khao Kheow Open Zoo signboards along Highway No. 34 (Bang Na-Trat).
Alternatively, taking the Motor Way (new Bangkok-Chon Buri Route) will reduce travel time (Highway No. 7)Author : worldtraveler
